3-book set : Lmtd Ed., slipcased "Sherwood Anderson's NOTEBOOK." (Boni & Liveright, 1926). SIGNED & numbered, [ # 115 of 210 offered for the trade ] on the limitation page. Quarterbound, light-green-on-marbled boards, deckle edged and partially uncut. Dark green slipcase is solid and moderately worn with damage along spine, head and tail, else VG+; "A Storytellers Story," by Sherwood Anderson. (Jonathan Cape, London, 1925). 1st thus. VG, no DJ. Green boards. Front board/spine just starting to separate at hinge but is still attached. Moderate foxing throught including ffep where Anderson has INSCRIBED this UK edition to his American publisher, Horace Liveright, making this a very remarkable association copy, condition taken into consideration. We've included a first printing of Walker Gilmer's bio "Horace Liveright, Publisher of the Twenties," (Davis Lewis, pub., NY. 1970) : VG+/vg+: 1/2-inch hole on DJ's spine, price-clipped.
