Jaimy Gordon : National Book Award 2010

Writer Races to Victory From Way Off the Pace.

Another surprise award winner joins the likes of Paul Harding and his Indie Bestseller “Tinkers“–which won the Pulitzer for fiction this year–as small publishers garner yet more literary awards. Gordon’s “Lord of Misrule"Lord of Misrule" by Jaimy Gordonoriginated as a short story, “A Night’s Work” and was included in 1995′s “The Best American Short Stories.” The dark-horse novel won the National Book Award for fiction last month.

Jaimy Gordon, National Book Award Winner, was truly a dark horse of the writing world.
